Coming back from two 16 people tournaments done in the last two weeks in Milan.

I arrived 4th in the fisrst tournament and I won the second First tournament results: gj vs ty fealty 1-0; gj-Lanni xing 2-0; gj-nw fealty 3-0; gj-Lanni fealty 3-1; CUT,semifinal greyjoy bara summer summer ; 3rd 4th place rematch of third game loss. Bara summer won the tournament. He crushed me, since I didn't know the deck, a very good one btw, and I made some mistakes , which combined with a poor setup vs his Robert+ barristand on turn one decided the semifinal In 3 plots.

Second tournament: Lannister fealty win; targ I fealty(like Giovanni's begger burn deck) win, this happens to be a very good greyjoy match up, the deck almost autopilot itself; gj xing win, Lanni fealty loss( he won for two powers, before my RotK, and on turn two he spiked my Euron on a 7 cards hand,and while coping it with Varys riddle I took a *** location, on a 5 cards hand, with mountain cersei tyrion and jimmy as remaining cards ); CUT semifinal against my old friend Loras Tyrell whit martell fealty, won on plot three; final Lanni winter won , a very close game seastone got both T-win and jimmy duped. Varys riddle turned marched against him twice getting Tyrion and his sister . oxcross just made the day

Congratulations on your showing!

I have a couple of questions, if you wouldn't mind clarifying:

First, would you mind giving a little more info on the Bara summer that won the first tournament? What was so terrifying about it?

Second, why 3x Kraken and only 2x Chair? I would guess that the chair is more important, no?

Third, do you really need that many fillers (House Maester, priest, navigator) while (imho) more important characters like Syrio are out?

@Sotiris typically in GJ decks House Maester and Priest are there for the Intrigue icons. With GJ having so much stealth already, Maester makes more sense then Scouts because of the Bicon. Salty is also cheap claim soak but aids with the initiative boost. Be mindful of Cost curve when building your decks. This deck has a nice curve, adding more Syrio would throw that off and potentially slow the deck or make for more frequent poor set ups.

@Tj13 what are your plans to add Victarian? I have been tweaking a GJ/Sun deck and dropped from 3 to 1 Balon to add 2 Vics. Obviously, I have a different style deck, but his abilities are just too good to pass up in any GJ deck.

Grats on you victory!, atypical deck, curious. Interesting to see some variations. me, Simo and Andre, in the shop although each with their own preferences, play very different. I don't like the neutral char package since you aren't play Crossing and you dont'need too much the icon Theon Greyjoy is more solid and Drowned Men are pain full with al the warship and priest.

@Sotiris about your questions:

  • ask @Lawyer for the bara summer since he was piloting the deck.
  • imho great kraken is more important than seastone( which is 3x in the new version of the deck btw). It reliably wins more game than seastone and remember always gj are a power rush house so you should push this theme before anything else.
  • as @NoTcHeS12 told you those fillers are there for the cost curve and the spread of icons( this thick has good setups and can do all three challenges almost every turn). Also having chuds to attack with The Kraken's Grasp and Raiding Longship put the opponent in a difficult spot since he doesn't know if it's worth to overcommit in defense in order to oppose the challenge.

@NoTcHeS12 right now Vicky is 3x, I've taken out a raider a newly and the seal to make space for him.

I use the kraken for both, usually in firsts turns I prefer to draw if I' m not reserve capped, later I go for powers . New deck will be posted later.
