Greyjoy Castamere [Moscow 2017 Q1 2nd place] | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1.0 |

"With bleak, depressing artwork, dull colour palette in the frames of cards", it really makes the intrigue icons POP.
I play a lot of Greyjoy, I took Fealty to 2nd place in a 30 player SC. Started playing rains after that and recently made 2nd place in another SC with 18 or 20 players and won a smaller SC. I made mistakes which cost me the games not the deck itself, which performed really well throughout the tournaments.
Greyjoy rains, ladies and gents. It's got more tricks than your standard Greyjoy Fealty or crossing which make it a lot more fun to play. "The Rains of Castamere" helps this deck out so much. It's a bit different from your standard build but not too far off. Pretty much some extra intrigue icons thrown in to make the blue borders look sexy and of course for rains. Appointed on big guys is great. Balon can trigger rains on his own so you don't have to commit a lot to trigger it and he rocks that intrigue icon like he was printed with it. On Victarion Greyjoy, it makes intimidating bigger guys easier as not too many intrigue icons in many games and finally on Asha Greyjoy to get more unopposed and stand. The rains plot deck is pretty much the same standard plots
- Filthy Accusations used at an important time to get an unopposed through to #Sow or help asha get more than one challenge through or simply to stop your opponents offence
- Power Behind the Throne brilliant for getting to stand Euron Crow's Eye to do two challenges and take more locations. Stand Balon for easy unopposed challenges. Victarion for double intimidation, he can also get his two power in one turn allowing you to valar early should you choose to do it. Esgred is a decent target too for that double stealth.
- Forgotten Plans is an interesting choice I really like having it in there to deny certain plots like winter fests and other nonsense like the Greyjoy plot. but I guess it could be swapped out for a game of thrones if you add even more intrigue icons in for the defence otherwise it's useless.
- The Riddle to trigger their plots. The most common choices are Confiscation, Coppers and my favourite, Marched to the Wall. Also works pretty well if opponent plays Ghosts of Harrenhal
- Wildfire is great to thin down the board to then go in for a military and power. If Victarion is on the board you can intimidate his board down, I'd usually follow up with marched if they only have two characters left to keep up the pressure. even with three they will obviously always save the best characters from wildfire so it can be a good march either way
The Raiding Longship's and Iron Fleet Scout's help you trigger rains much easier. The Greyjoy stealth and character abilities can often be enough but the ships are there in case you need them.
Oh, and flipping a rains plot on a valar turn to give you claim is perfect

|
ok that you :) i told you because when i test it i didint see any save the right time and i couldnt use offensive the valar |
|
probably change a bit the plot deck to add counting coppers or time of plenty or summons? |
Me Rikey! |
Why appointed and not little bird? |

Im not sure about only 1 The Roseroad. Economy is needed in valar meta. Also, Esgreded has huge downside with Asshai Priestess which knocsk her so easily. |

Looks like a really exciting deck! I've been meddling with GJ the most apart from my beloved Bara. Tyrion's Chain only just arrived in Singapore and i can't wait to experiment with Esgred in a GJ rains deck. |
looks good
