Rules FAQ

  • The cost reduction is self-referential and only works while War Elephants is in hand. A copy of War Elephants in play will not reduce the cost to ambush another copy of War Elephants from hand.

  • Fortified Position only affects characters in play, so it will not blank the text that prevents War Elephants from being marshaled while it is in your hand. It will not blank the ambush or the cost reduction either.

  • The text of War Elephants still prevents you from marshaling it in a "non-conventional" way, such as Night Gathers..., The Watch Needs Good Men, or Maester Gormon.
