This is a deck which I'm working on and playing at the moment.

The main concept is to Intrigue the hell out of your opponent while killing his people and gaining power. Similar concepts of Lanni around Small Council Chamber have popped out recently, but my idea (and argument) for this deck is that by having a Sun banner with all the (Intrigue) Icon removal you will be much more stronger.

I did a couple of games this week, with a bit different version of the deck and if it weren't for a few misplays/tests, I can say that the deck would have steamrolled. Based on that experience, I found the following points (which I incorporate in this version of the deck).

  • Ambush is good for this deck. Claim soaking via Ambush saves this deck big time.
  • Your Lannister buildings. I tried a version of 2x Small Council Chamber 3x Casterly Rock and 1x Lannisport. The idea was that I'm focused on pushing multiple intrigue challenges and getting power on the Council. However, after testing (and some comment from other players) perhaps it's better while destroying their hand to draw cards ... because "card advantage is a thing". I can't say that I fully agree, but will give it a go in the version you see listed here.
  • Considering playing majority of Ambush-able chuds, The First Snow of Winter seems like a good choice here
  • His Viper Eyes to bump up Sun cards to 12 and additional Hand Control/Destroy
  • Would rather play 2x Trial by Combat as it can cancel a Mirri Maz Duur effect while being a scary option with Cersei Lannister on a 2 claim plot ... but as I decided to not go with any in this version of the deck, I feel like 1x is fine.

I'm really excited for this deck, as it generally works different than the standard Lanni. Let me know what u think.

Couldn't fit in Bastard Daughter? Seems like an absolute perfect fit, given both Nymeria Sand and the "when killed," effect.

How often do you see your location pieces? Other intrigue-based decks are sporting x3 Small Council Chamber and x3 Casterly Rock, as well as at least one of Support of the People. Do you mulligan if you don't start with a Small Council or Lannisport? Does all-in intrigue work with only one Casterly Rock?

@FlabberMcFizzleJerky , as I said, I was doing 3x Casterly Rock and 2x Small Council Chamber and 1x Lannisport ... seemed to hit them in all of my games, but that's why I'm running 1x Building Orders.

Had 3x Bastard Daughter which honestly are great for this deck, but found out that the Ambush guys are more valuable. After some additional testing, they might make the cut... but I had this game where I had like 3 Daugther's out and almost 0 INT or POW icons :(

I feel like I put 1x Grand Maester Pycelle and 1x Brothel Madame instead of 2x Bastard Daughter ... let's see how this goes :)

@Dydra Have you considered Varys? I won a SC back in february (quote a different meta) with an intrigue heavy Lanni Sun deck and Varys was a key part in most of my victories.

Once you've nuked their hand, you wipe the board and they can't recover faster then you.

@BillyDooku I honestly never play Varys. Just couldn't get my mind around how the card feels. I guess if I had to play it, would try in a deck with a lot of Dupes and even Bodyguard.

Otherwise - yeah, it makes a lot of sense for a strategy in which you are clearing his hand.
