Tweaked a great and overlooked deck I came across to suit my own playing style. Heavy on intrigue, discourages military, and has a variety low cost characters with Ambush to keep things fresh. The First Snow of Winter is actually a blessing as most low cost cards are there for their Ambush and are happiest in your hand. Variety of locations also serve as brilliant support to the action but are not vital for the win. Remaining cards chosen for their Insight and Income benefits and act as fuel to the intrigue engine.

The only thing that concerns me is that the Desert Scavengers don't actually assist the deck other than to provide chumps that die on demand. Bastard Daughters do this at the same cost and have an ability that is a little better in the deck.

In terms of plots Wildfire Assault is very good when you have trial by combat in hand, and allows you to seize control of the board. As a matter of personal preference I don't like Trading with the Pentoshi and would rather use your existing roseroads, Tywin and other income to use Famine making it hard for your opponent to control the board.

I'd also cut a few cards to run a few more duplicates. such as putting in 2 more paid off, as they scale really well off each other. I'm then tempted to put in another Madame as they have some interesting synergy with paid off. (if they don't pay immediately then they can't make military challenges which forces them to go to intrigue first, allowing you to trigger paid off.)

More broadly I think you have too many locations/events (only 30 characters), I'd trade the tower of the hand for something with better synergy with the rest of the deck. (it's great with the queens assassin but with only one of each I don't see that combo coming off often.

Thanks a lot for the comments this is great! I will definitely try Bastard Daughter as i am low on military icons enough as it is. I agree about Wildfire and Trial working well together but I thought First Snow is better to clear the board as my Ambush cards get repeat value. Famine is a good idea and i am not wedded to Pentoshi, but i find high income cards sometimes really important when military attacks become overwhelming or when Lannister reducers do not show up.

I know what you mean about too many locations and events but i found the variety really awesome and fun to play and actually serves to make a single successful intrigue challenge pay off immensely and really cripple an opponent. Tower of the Hand really benefits me when the characters involved have Ambush, which a lot of mine do. Any two of the non-limited locations i find compliment each other.
