I win a local tournament with this deck yesterday. In my meta martell aren't very popoular, and most decks runs Varys x3 and forgot about Doran Martell and The Red Viper.

I try to build a deck somehow different, and i win a couple of games because my opponent thought i saved 2 gold for Vengeance for Elia and let my Put to the Sword pass.

So Spearmaiden was a key card in combo with Put to the Sword and some martell lords pumped by Doran Martell.

I can alway get rid of my opponent key carachters because of Spearmaiden in military, Elia Sand in intrigue, and Ghaston Grey defending.

I think it's a tought deck to play but also to fight because it can trigger something almost in every challange.

A special thanks to my mate Antonello who makes fun of me and my greyjoy deck i was thinking about, so i decided to switch house :)

Congratulations!

Against which deck did you played? What do you thin is the hardest matchup? I could imagine that the watch could be nasty with craven and milk. Only confiscation is enough for attachement hate?

Did you tried YMHC? The combo wit PTTS is expensive but couldb very impactful

lannister deluxe was not legal, so i can't try You Murdered Her Children. i think to put 1x in in exchange of The Scorpion's Sting, i never used it in the whole event. i win against:

  • stark fealty
  • targaryen fealty
  • targaryen crossing
  • lannister fealty
  • lannister crossing
  • lannister banner of the dragon (two times, last in final match)

the hardest matchup was for sure lannister crossing, he plays the combo Harrenhal (FFH) and Tower of the Hand and other jump effects so he makes his board in challange and was very hard for me to control. He run fast to 14 power, 3rd plot 14-2 and i can stop him to 14 and win at the 6th plot.

i discarded the idea of playng Rattleshirt's Raiders because i need the solt for 3x Spearmaiden so if i can't remove milk i kill the character then use Close Call. best thing is there is no a key character, all useful but i can play without one of them.

no NW, i was not expecting and i was right, but i think you're right they would be the worst matchup

Nice result, I am kind of scared playing Spearmaiden now because of Dissension. You never faced it ? Your plot line is also very flexible depending on the situation. Same as you I don't like playing Rattleshirt because it is not a 100% reliable to play only 1 or even 2.

I never faced dissension. I think no one is playing it now. Maybe after release of jaquen something will change.

Dissension is a good point. But atm there are not enough good targets for that. It's a 2 Gold loss or dead card if ou can't find a good target fot it.
