The First Snow of Winter helps quite a bit. I played a friend that has a wall deck. He had a lot of little dudes with 'no attachments'. My icon control was weak in that match. Timing on the plots and having Nymeria Sand was key. I think the NW wall is a weak matchup for this deck though. |
Lots of control here but I see no power gain aside from 2x HoS. How are you closing the game? How many rounds does it take? |
It doesn't close the game well. First round I won by having more power... Hence the 4 points rather than 5. I usually close the game by challenges with whatever happens to be available. Often times it comes down to unopposed challenges by a Greenblood Trader or Desert Scavenger. Not flashy wins, but wins none the less. |
Further, yes your right Avatar. The 2x HoS is important as well. Between Ghaston Grey and #The First Snow of Winter I can send plenty of characters back to my opponent's hand. This lends indirect removal by His Viper Eyes and HoS. Picking up 4-6 power from HoS does help quite a bit in getting to the land of 15. |
How do you deal with Night's Watch?
