End of a long day and much of it is a blur of amazing people and games so I'll keep it mostly brief.
This deck is tuned to acquire power as fast as it possibly can. I went 3-2 in swiss, and won all three games in the top 8. Five of my wins were on turn 3, the sixth (the finals) was a turn 4 win, and one of my losses was a turn 3 kill from a Stark deck where I'm pretty sure I had it on the crack back. Play for speed, one of your power is often worth two of theirs, because your deck naturally gains power so fast.
Like many other Crossing and aggro decks this deck aims to win challenges where it can get power, and doesn't generally mind losing too much in the process. The 6 ambushers (Burned Men and Gold Cloaks) are amazing claim soak. But they also serve as STR boosts for a critical 3rd challenge.
This deck exists because of Shae, she holds the deck together and makes it great. As an example of this and the last points, the one moment I really remember from my top 4 game: I had 6 power, my opponent had 1, plus some on house. I had a mess of characters, 2 Red Cloaks, Burned Men, Tyrion Lannister (Core), Syrio Forel, Shae, and The Hound. My opponent attacks for 21 STR of military, 2 gold up clearly representing Put to the Sword. Takes a bit of thinking, I eventually decide to use Syrio on Tyrion, and block with everything save a Red Cloaks and Shae. Claim a Burned Men, and pillage from my oppnent's Ser Gregor Clegane doesn't hit anything relevant. My crack back is an Intrigue from Shae (1 unopposed, get 2 gold from Tyrion), a military from Red Cloaks (1 unopposed), and a power challenge (unopposed, claim and crossing). Then my Winter Festival plot triggers, and we tie for dom, putting me at a grand 11 power going into plot 3. Heads on Spikes hits, and the Wildfire Assault isn't enough to stop me on the follow up.
Turns like that, where you get 2-3 unopposed power, plus crossing and claim on power challenge are both fun and common with this deck. This deck generally took 15-20 minutes to finish games.
General plot order: A Noble Cause unless you flipped a god draw in which case you might go straight into Winter Festival. Winter Festival unless you think a summer plot is coming. Heads on Spikes x2
Confiscation if you need to get rid of an attachment, and Calling the Banners if they run out of cards in hand (which they generally will, this deck makes both decks play fast).
Trading with the Pentoshi should be something else. Never wanted to use it. Lots of possibilities for replacements. Summer Harvest, A Storm of Swords, A Clash of Kings all deserve testing.
I mulliganed aggressively, often looking for 7/1 openings, or a roseroad/Western Fiefdom. The games I lost were ones where I kept small characters and no economy. Just mulligan for Tywin Lannister (Core), Tyrion Lannister (Core), and Ser Jaime Lannister (Core). Having one of them is just so much better than the alternative, especially when Shae comes down later.
There's a lot of RNG in this deck between Heads on Spikes and Ser Gregor Clegane. My personal opinion is that it takes some luck and faith to win a longer tournament, and that I did get some of that, but the choice to play a high variance deck is one that can backfire, but can pay off very well when it works. If your goal is to top 8 consistently, other decks might be better. If my goal is to win a tournament, I would pick this deck again.
Thanks to everyone I met at Highgarden, you are all amazing people. Special shout out to everyone who ran the event. These community run and organized events have great prizes, and help bring us all together to share in our passion, which is what life is about, right?

I have yet to see anything that consistently beats Lanni crossing, one of the most solid decks still |
More like Shae's Crossing! Grats on the win, it was well deserved!
